About the Miniature Quilt Group

So, Here's to you, Mrs Sanderson - Dorian Walton

Welcome to the Miniature Quilt Group via the Quilter's Guild web site. We are a specialist group for all those who love making very small quilts, using up those scraps of fabric that others discard as too small for future projects. We love to try out those designs we haven't tackled on a large scale but have always wanted to. A good definition of a miniature is that when photographed it cannot be distinguished from a full size quilt,  but not everyone starts with this size, so try A4 at the outset.

As a member of the Miniature Quilt Group you receive three colourful Newsletters, called 'Small Talk', a year, full of articles. There are  challenges each year for the AGM and Festival of Quilts. The themes vary each year and often we have members of the Guild and visitors voting for their favourite quilt. We also have a meeting once a year at the Festival of Quilts and run a workshop too for members.
